About the event

Dual Response to Active Threats [DRAT] - Level 1 is a two-day (20+ hour) course that teaches students how to effectively respond with a partner to incidents with active killing in progress. Students will be taught how to rapidly deploy from their vehicles in order to stop the killing and stop the dying.  DRAT is designed for those who work in a two-person capacity or has a "beat" partner they usually handle calls with. The training can also be applied to armed security specialist that are assigned to provide security for specific locations and armed citizens who often travel with like minded individuals.
