About the event

     Deliberate Clearance [DEL-C] - Level I teaches students how to safely and effectively clear structures with 3 - 5 personnel.  Our Level-I course teaches students how to methodically move within a building and prosecute rooms from outside the threshold in order to minimize the threat to the individual and the team. These techniques will allow you stealthily move within the objective, giving you an edge when dealing with violent encounters in urban environments.

Topics covered:

     -Deliberate vs dynamic clearing methodology

     -Theories and principles of CQC

     -Priorities of Life

     -OODA Loop

     -Duties and responsibilities

     -Nonverbal communication

     -Door procedures (open vs closed)

     -Threshold clearance

     -Room procedures

     -Exiting procedures

     -Hallway movements 

     -L Intersections

     -Low light considerations

  This will be a ”Force on Paper” event.  Non Lethal Training Ammunition (NTLA) and/or Airsoft will be utilized against paper targets within the structure to ensure students are grasping the concepts being taught.  We will only be using NTLA during the final practicals.

  Limited NTLA guns (Glocks) and AR bolt packages are included in the cost of tuition. Each package will include a handgun OR bolt and 60 rounds of ammunition. Contact us for more information.

  Students are highly encouraged to bring dry fire training aids such as SIRT Pistols/Bolts, Dryfire Mags, and Mantis Blackbeards to utilize during the day prior to the practicals.

  While this course is not restricted, Eaglehead Training Group, LLC reserves the right to deny entry into the course if it is deemed that the student(s) have malicious or nefarious intentions of utilizing the material taught.

Class size: 

     -14 Students max 

*If a student is unable to attend the course due to an illness or any other valid reason, a credit will be given for another course of the same value

Weapon Requirements: 

     -Serviceable carbine or handgun with weapon mounted lights

     -Magazines

Equipment Requirements:

     -Eye protection 

     -Duty equipment

Equipment and Weapon Recommendations:

     -Plate carriers/vest

     -Helmets

     -Dryfire training devices such as SIRT Bolts/Pistols

     -Pen and paper

Students should bring a bagged lunch and enough water for the day.  A short lunch break will be given to ensure we maximize training time.
