About the event

Eaglehead Training Group is proud to partner up with Callahan Training Group to bring you a comprehension 2-Day Night Vision Employment Course [NVEC]. This two day course will start in the class room, then move to the range and finish inside the house learning how to deliberately clear rooms under low light/no light conditions.   

Force on Paper with Non Lethal Training Ammunition (NLTA) will be utilized for the CQB portion of the training.  Bolts and 60 rounds of NLTA are included in the cost of the course.

On site lodging is available through:


   -Must be a US Citizen

   -Students should posses a basic level of understanding of firearms safety, marksmanship, and weapons handling prior to enrolling in this course.  Day fire will be conducted to validate student's skills prior to conducting the Low Light/ No Light phase

   -Multiple targets


   -Overcoming photonic barriers

   -Principals and theories of CQB

   -OODA Loop

   -Low light/No Light considerations

   -Center fed vs Corner fed


   -Doorway procedures 

   -Micro terrain within room

   -Communication (Verbal/Nonverbal)

   -Room exiting procedures 

Class size: 

   -10 students

Round Count:

   -500 rounds rifle

   -150 rounds pistol


Weapon Requirements:

   -Serviceable rifle with weapon mounted light, sling, IR laser/illuminator, and 5 x magazines

   -Serviceable handgun with weapon mounted light and holster


Equipment requirements:

   -Night Vision goggles with mounting system

   -Vest, plate carrier, or chest rig

   -Ballistic eye protection 

   -Hearing protection

   -Handheld flashlight or headlamp

   -1 x green chemlight

   -Cold/Wet weather gear

   -Pen, marker and paper

   -Batteries for all electronic equipment

Students are highly encouraged to bring food and water with them for the course.
