About the event

Combined Response to Active Threats [CRAT] is a two-day (20+ hour) course that teaches students how to effectively respond with a partner to incidents with active killing in progress. Students will be taught how to rapidly deploy from their vehicles in order to find and stop the killing with the end state goal of treating and evacuating the wounded.  CRAT is designed for those who work in a two-person capacity or has a "beat" partner they usually handle calls with. The training can also be applied to armed security specialist that are assigned to provide security for specific locations and armed citizens who often travel with like minded individuals.

Utilizing the "Crawl, Walk, Run" training methodology, students will start with a white board presentation and finish with realistic scenarios. Live role players, Non-Lethal Training Ammunition (NLTA) and blanks will be utilized during the training.

Drop in AR15 bolts and 90 rnds of NLTA munitions are all included in the cost of tuition.
